Following the big success of the Piaget Polo FortyFive titanium watch which was launched to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Polo collection last year, Piaget created the new Polo FortyFive with skeletonized dial that has two versions – a chronograph watch and a basic three-hand model with date complication.
The case of the new Piaget watch is a mixture of several materials including grade 5 titanium, vulcanized rubber and steel. Like other models in the collection, the case features fine satin-brushed and polished finishes and the iconic gadroons pattern. Also the case is slightly curved to offer optimal wearing experience. Matching to the case is a bracelet featuring chic gadroons pattern. The case is water resistant to 100 meters.
The chronograph version is powered by the Calibre 880P –an automatic chronograph movement with 50-hour power reserve, while the three hand version is animated by the Caliber 800P with date complication. Via the display case back of the watch, you can enjoy these movements which are in-house designed, developed and assembled by Piaget. Both movements receives refine finishes. The bridges are well bevelled and has hand-crafted sides. The surfaces of the movement is decorated with Cotes de Geneve pattern. And the movement also has blued screws, a circular-grained main-plate, a balance with adjustment screws and an oscillating weight coated with black PVD.
The dial of the new Polo FortyFive watch has a skeletonized dial that offers a view of the movement. You can clearly see the black PVD-coated circular grained main-plate and the novel date disc.Basically, the main tones of the dial is black and metallic shade. And Piaget subtly spices up the dial with a little bright red on the markers.
Each version of The new Polo FortyFive with skeletonized dial is limited to just 500 pieces and is secured onto the wrist by a rubber strap with steel folding clasp
