Hublot Launched Limited Edition Watch for 200th Anniversary Of Mexican Independence

200 years ago, Mexican beat Spanish and got precious independence for their country. And 2010 marks the 200^th anniversary of this great victory. Not a few luxury watch brands take this opportunity and make special edition watches to help celebrate this big event. Audemars Piguet, for example, launched the Pride of Mexico Watch based on its famous Royal Oak Offshore at the end of last year. And recently, Hutlot watches unveiled their special edition watch for he 200th Anniversary of Mexican independence. It seems that Hublot makes no secret of his ambition to challenge Audemars Piguet-“If Audemars Piguet can play, of course we Hublot can do it nicely as well.” Well, back to to point, let us take a look at the Hublot limited edition watch for Mexico:

The watch will be limited to 200 pieces to remind Mexicans of their victory over the Spanish 200 years ago. 50 pieces is done in 18k King Gold, and 150 pieces are crafted from in black ceramic.Like Audemars Piguet, Hublot uses their highly successful King Power chronograph watch as the model. The design idea is nothing new as well. Hublot also applies Mexican flag colors on the watch. Both versions have green applied on the hour markers and hands, and red on the main dial. The king gold version is matches with a bold rubber strap in green and black tones. The case is engraved with the Bell of Dolores.(On the case back of the Audemar Piguet there has the engraving of the Angel of Independence ). It is said that it was the ring of the bell marked the beginning of the great Mexican revolution in 1810.

Hublot Released the New Limited Big Bang for Mexican Football Federation

Two years ago, Mexican Football Federation had their first limited edition Big Bang watch from Swiss watch maker Hublot. Tasting the huge success of that watch, Hublot made another limited Big Bang watch to celebrate their partnership with the world’s renown football federation.

Jean-Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot watches, recently passed this watch to Mexican national team trainer Javier Aguirre on the world-known Estadio Azteca football pitch where all Mexico team matches are held. In the upcoming 2010 World Cup in South Africa, Javier Aguirre will lead Mexican national football team to fight for the championship. According Hutlot, Jacky Bracamontes, famous Mexican actress and Hublot ambassador, will attend the following launch events of this new Big Bang watch. And each player of Mexican national team will have the honor to wear the watch on their journey to South Africa.

As watch specially made for the Mexican Football Federation, this limited edition Big Bang of course has unique features that indicates Hublot relationship with the Federation. For example, the dial of the watch is skeletonized and reveals red and greed colors. The alligator strap is in green and has red stitching. The hands also apply these two colors which are the colors Mexico’s national colors. And the case back is fitted with a sapphire crystal with the FMF logo.

The watch has a standard Big Bang case sized at 44.5.mm. It is done in black ceramic and has fine microblasted finish. And it is water resistant to 100 meters. Beating inside the watch is the Hublot Calibre HUB 4200, a self-winding mechanical movement with chronograph functions. Hublot will Save Part of BNB concept

I posted a post about BNB concept’s probable declare of bankruptcy at helloreplicas.net. As a very important movement manufacturer the news was very bad and sad Swiss watch making world.

And today, I just got the news that Hublot watch, the well established luxury watch brand and the VIP client of BNB concept, would take over the movement maker. I had never thought Hublot watches would play a role of a big hero who comes to rescue a brand in danger. And LVMH, who owned the Hublot has annouced and confirmed that it will buy BNB concept.

I do not know what it means very clearly. But Hublot did reveal not long ago that it wanted to be a movement manufacturer in near future and produce movements for their luxury watches themselves.

And the news further reveals that Hublot is trying to get part of BNB Concept’s technology, personal and machnery. But news just stops here without telling that if Hublot will operate the purchased BNB Concept in the origianal manufacture or transfer it to other place.

What is sure is that, Hublot watches can not save 100% of BNB concept. It can only rescue part of it, which means that part of BNB concept’s staff will lose job, and the clients may have to turn to other movement provider, though they have few options.

Preview of Hublot Gold King Power Tourbillon GMT Watch

Hublot works hard to keep the popularity of the Big Bang series watches that have a huge fans regiment. Hublot has been less innovative for several years. But it does not loose customers with lots of luxury characters.

This year, it seems that Hublot becomes a bit more creative. It dresses its new watch offering- Hublot Gold King Power Tourbillon GMT with a new gold called “King Gold.” In fact, this new gold alloy is still a rose gold though it has 5% platinum in it. In another word, it is a fusion of rose gold and a hint of white gold.It seems that the watch industry is having a new gold fashion. To my knowledge, Hublot is not the only brand that has new gold this year. German top luxury watch maker Lange & Sohne has also announced their Honey Gold alloy.

Except the new coat, Hublot Gold King Power Tourbillon GMT is also the brand’s first watch that has tourbillon, GMT and a retrograde date indicator-all in one. Is it inspiring?

The case, sized in 48mm, is basically done in King Gold. And like other Hublot watches, it applies other materials like titanium, ceramic, composite resin and rubber to keep its sophisticated look. The dial really looks nice at first sight. But as nearly 3 quarters of the surface uses similar tone, you may get lost in few seconds. That is to say the dial is not very easy to read. But as a nice mixture of real dial and exposed movement, it still looks very sharp. Through the tourbillon, you can have a clear view of the major gears of the movement.

This new Hublot watch, limited to just 28 pieces, will make its debut in Baselworld 2010. The price must but very expensive given the exclusivity, the sharp look and the complexity.

Review of the Latest Hublot Commando Bang Watches

It is likely that few soldiers will wear a luxury timepiece in the cruel and dangerous battle even if he is rich or the watch has been disguised in camouflage pattern. But it seems that Swiss luxury watch makers are creating the trend of camouflage watches. Not long ago, Ulysse Nardin launched a Maxi Marine Diver model with camouflage dial. And now Hublot releases two Commando Bang watches featuring brown or green camouflage pattern on the dial and the strap.

And the Hublot Commando Bang watches, with clear jungle/desert camo styles. are the newest members of the brand’s huge Bang family. Representing the old school style , the camouflage patterns the entire watch faces and the straps.

By far, no detailed specifications of the watches are provided. But I guess the case size is standard 44.5mm And the cases are probably made from steel and coated with the so-called professional man-made fibers with NOMEX, while ceramic and Kevlar are applied on the bezel or the case inserts. The straps are also made with fibers with NOMEX.And both the cases and the straps are fire and extreme temperature resistant.

Personally, I really appreciate the ideas and love the cool looks of the watches. The dials of camo are very pleasing to look at. By the way, these pieces remind me of an 80’s era Arnold. I imagine how cool he would have been when he shows off such a watch on his strong wrist and lights a cigar on the commando gear.

I guess beating inside the watch is an an ETA 2894-2 automatic movement which is the standard choice for Hublot. And as far as I know of , the Hublot Commando watches will not go for large volume sales. Instead, they will be made in limited number

The King Power Chrono Flying Tourbillon is a bit of departure from what Hublot does these days. It is very rare that a tourbillon movement is fitted into a Hublot watch. And the movement is really cool and appeals to some people. Well, it is reported that this watch just won 5th Premier Middle East Watches, Jewelry, and Pens Award. By the way, why watches had to competing against jewelry and pens? It is ridiculous.

The case of the watch is a combo of ceramic, titanium coated with PVD and composite resin materials. And the watch itself is in all black and sized at 48mm. Beating inside is the HUB1400CT, a manual winding movement with adorable power reserve of 120 hours. The large flying tourbillon is the biggest attention grabber on the sophisticated open-worked dial, featuring decorated rubies. The open-work of the dial is fabulous though, it makes the reading a little difficult.

The King Power Chrono Flying Tourbillon by Hublot is just limited to 28 pieces worldwide with top luxury range price. And I feel the limited watch may find homes at middle east where it was just awarded. And the point is that price tag just counts for that of a few tankers of unrefined oil there.

The Hublot big bang king all blue is one of my favorite Hublot watches this year. As the most stylish big bang watch, it wins countless hears of watch lovers. It was lauched in a limited edition of 500 pieces.

Besides a leading watch maker that impresses the world with innovative designs, Hublot is also an excellent magic master of colors and materials. The Big Bang King All Blue features the elegant combination of matte black and dart blue.

Sized at 48mm, the case is presented on black ceramic. The exclusive dark blue is found on the black rubber inserts and the alligator strap. But the most interesting application of blue is showcased on the matte black dial. Coated with black luminescent coating, the satin-finished hour markers and the faceted & diamond-polished hands glows mysterious yet charming blue in places of poor lighting. The dial has a sapphire crystal glass with interior anti-reflective coating.

The watch crown and the screws are made of the titanium. the The black uni-directional bezel features nice numerals in relief. The solid ceramic case back has BIG BANG KING seal engraving.
