Like most women on this planet, the new Bertolucci Gioco watches lightened my eyes at first sight and triggered the desire of possession deep from my heart.
While I love the the diamonds that paved the watch, I am drawn into the irregular case shape and the intricate tree-demensional structure of the dial which, I guess, is inspired by the architectural esthetics.
One Bertolucci Gioco watch is done in 18K gold and sized at 41.70 mm x 49.20 mm. 177 diamonds (amount to 3.85 carats) build up a magnificent visual enjoyment at sides of case. But I appreciate the fantastic decoration arround the white mother-of-pearl dial. Part of its structure reminds of the profile of Sydney Opera House.
Another Bertolucci Gioco watch of the same size is presented on 18K white gold and paved with diamonds in and out. The ultimate luxury is achieved by 428 diamonds amount to5.07 carats. The revolving-stairs-structure (forgive my limited knowlegde in architecture, I can not find a better word)adds charm and mystery to the time display. Almost forget, there are another 99 diamonds (0.41)set on the 18Kt white gold pin buckle of the leather strap.
Both versions are powered by Swiss ETA quartz movement, fitted with a sapphire crystal with anti-reflective compound, and adopt small dauphine hands in either gold or rhodium plated to display time in limited space surrouned by too much decoration. In addition the lucky future owners of these pieces are offered with leather straps in different colors.
And each of Bertolucci Gioco watches, water resistant to 30 meters, will be limited to just 5 pieces.
