On July 11, 1958, Frank Muller was born in La Chaux-de-Fonds of Swizerland. He grew up in a multi-culture family and was heir to his Italy-born mother’s creativity and imagination and his Swiss born father’s desciplined pragmatic spirits. In 1981, Frank Muller talents emergerd when he studied in Ecoled, Horiogerie -A world-famous watch-design college where he won many honors and gained No.1 assessment through his master-class watch-making technology. Later, Frank quickly grew up as a watch-making master and gained excellent reputation all over the world. He was entrusted to take charge of refitting those priceless wristwatches of great historical value from private museums, watch auction houses and collectors. In 1983, Frank Muller decided to create unique watches named by his own name. Four years later, Frank displayed the first Cintree Curvex at the Vicenza International Horologe Exhibition and quickly received highly praises from watch connoisseurs. This revolutionary tonneau-shape timepiece, based on arch geometry, features an arch that perfectly follows wrist.
In 1992, Frank Muller established his own watch-making company and set up the studio in the center of Gethod-a Swiss village has charming pastoral scene. In the same year, he created an unprecedent wristwatch marking his ambition and important moment of his career. In 1995, the Frank Muller Watchland was established. It is a unique watch-making workshop, able to independently develop and produce watch case, dial and movement.
